The Reviews

After conducting some research into the Tasco World Class 20-60×80 Zoom Waterproof/Fogproof Spotting Scope we found that the reviews were pretty good overall.  This scope did not get the best reviews we found but they were pretty good and most people seemed satisfied with their purchase.

A few of the reviews were very positive and a lot of people believe that you cannot get a better scope without spending a lot more money.  One reviewer states that the color and clarity is impressive and things looked sharp even at 60x magnification.  The Tasco World Class 20-60 has good quality optics with very little visual aberration except at the highest magnification.

tasco world class spotting scope hard caseThe Tasco World Class 20-60 comes with a couple of accessories as well.  There is a hard case that is of decent quality and a tripod that leaves something to be desired.  This seems to be the case with just about every scope in this price range that comes with a tripod.

There were a number of negative reviews for the Tasco World Class 20-60×80 Zoom Waterproof/Fogproof Spotting Scope as well.  For people that wear glasses the eyepiece is difficult to see out of and it’s kind of like looking through a tunnel.  A couple of reviewers claim that it starts to lose focus around 40x magnification while others claim that it looks great even at 60+.

The reviews for this scope were a little bit mixed.  A few people said things like “you get what you pay for” indicating that the low price would suggest that the product is not of the highest quality while other reviewers seemed to be quite impressed and very happy with their purchase.  Overall the reviews were pretty good and our research would suggest that this is a good quality scope for something in this price range.
